About Dens Metals Ltd
“Our goal is to manufacture material
to meet our customers’ specification, deliver on time
and on budget. Our experienced and highly trained workforce
will ensure your requirements are met in full. We will also
continue to invest, expand and improve our business to meet
the current and future requirements of our customers.”

Dens Metals was established in 1960
and is part of the Malcolm, Ogilvie & Co Ltd Group. The
origins of MOCO date back to 1847 – so Dens Metals
can point to a heritage of longevity and staying power.
Following
years of investment Dens Metals has developed the best of
accepted continuous casting methods and technology. The casting
plant includes both vertical modes of continuous casting – upwards
and downwards - and all the casting units use nitrogen shrouding.
This
enables Dens Metals to produce high quality, homogenous,
close tolerance products, which have the benefit of reducing
waste and increasing productivity at our customers.
Present
capacity is 50 tonnes per week with the ability to extend
this when required.
Dens Metals prides itself in being able
to meet the individual requirements of it’s customers,
and has the capability to finish to small cut blank sizes
ready for onward processing at our customers.
The company
holds around 150 tonnes of standard stock sizes in PB1 and
SAE660 alloys. This enables Dens to service customers in
the quickest possible delivery times.
Dens Metals is also
equipped to process metal swarf and metal turnings, and many
of our customers appreciate the convenience and cost benefits
of our swarf material exchange arrangements.
Please do not
hesitate to contact us with your full requirements.
