As an authorised carrier of waste we can collect any segregated swarf/turnings from our customers. These are then dried in our Jenkins Newell Dunford swarf drier and then added directly into any of our induction furnaces reducing emissions from melting to virtually zero.
This process not only benefits our environment but also our customers as we offer premium prices for swarf/turnings produced during machining.

Dens metals uses a number of approved fume and dust extraction systems so that 95% of all emissions are captured and filtered before being vented to atmosphere.

The company conforms to the pollution prevention and control regulations 2000 permit No PPC/B/1008756.
